This website, A Great Sign, was created by Fr. John, a diocesan Catholic priest, out of a deep love for sacred scripture and a desire to share the riches of Revelation 12 and 13 with fellow believers. This site approaches the Book of Revelation from a Catholic perspective, drawing on the Church Fathers, approved Marian apparitions, the writings of the saints, and contemporary theological scholarship. The goal is not to provoke fear, but to offer hope — the hope that comes from understanding God’s sovereign plan as revealed in Sacred Scripture and trusting in the triumph of the Woman clothed with the sun. Current events draw me to analyze pieces of the puzzle in these two chapters that have unveiled themselves before our very eyes in the past decade.

Prophetic insights

Analysis focuses on the prophetic chapters of Revelation, particularly chapters 12 and 13, with an emphasis on understanding the symbolism of the woman, dragon, beast, and key end-times themes. I seek to provide clarity and encouragement through diligent study and interpretation.

All content here is offered for prayerful reflection.
